One Sheet Wonder

I found a for me new technique at Splitcoast Stampers, OSW, One Sheet Wonder. It's about using one paper sheet to create a set of cards, I used the template and card design Susan Roberts shows at her blog. It was a really fast way to make a set of cards.

Anchors for Hope

Hope you're not getting bored by the image, this could be the third card with it, but I'm so in love with it at the moment.

I used:
Kaisercraft image stamped with Archival ink on glossy cardstock, brayered Distress inks for background, coloured with Aqua Markers, added highlights with a Sakura pen.
The anchors are from a Pink Paislee set, stamped with Versafine ink on scraps and cut out.
Quickutz large and small corners, EK Success corner adorner for border, Marianne Design and Spellbinder dies for circles.
Hero Arts large wood grain stamp and Distress ink, Liquid pearls.
The sandy looking background is made with gesso and acrylic paint, it's easy to make textures on it while it's wet.

Snowflakes in July

Yes, I know, it's early, but I thought that it's time to make some thank you cards for Christmas. At first I thought to incorporate a thank you too, but it looks better with no text at all.

The snowflakes are Penny Black, stamped with Distress and embossing ink and fine embossing powder, the gem in the middle was a clear one, but it was coloured with alco ink to match. The shape was made with a Spellbinder die.

I would like to enter:

Anything But Square

This week at Cupcake Craft Challenges we want to see anything but square, please check our blog for all the details and the teams fantastic cards, they are so beautiful!!!

I'm still playing with my hexagonal dies so the shape was easy to choose; I cut out a frame and the cardstock. The image is a Penny Black, stamped with Versa Fine and embossed with clear powder. Background and colouring were made with Distress inks, cut'n'dry pen nibs, stippling brush and mask. Some distress stickles and glossy accents for texture and interest. I also used a Cuttlebug die for the flower and a QK die for the leaves.
