Flowers to Mum

Fabulous sunshine today, the forecast says that we'll have summer temperatures tomorrow, the crafty flow is on top. And I had a win at the Cute Card Thursday Challenge with the Splish Splash card, woohoo!

I used a Spellbinder circle die to cut and emboss the circle. The background was made with Hero Arts plaid pattern stamp and Memento Bamboo Leaves ink on Glossy cardstock. The flower is a cut our part from a Hero Arts flower border stamp coloured with Aqua Markers, spritzed with water and stamped on cardstock. I added some Stickles for depth and bling factor. The sentiment says To Mum in Swedish and is stamped with Archival black ink. The half pearls are Kaiser Craft.

It's Bank Holiday here in Sweden, so one more card with leftover squares. We've had a fantastic day with sun and 21 degrees, I'm sure next week will bring minus degrees one morning, so we're practising he Buddhist way of living in the now today. It never works on dark cold winter days.

Liquid pearls
Snippets for layering, Helz Cuppelditch papers (Papermania?)

Splish Splash

Fabby with a few days off, I have time for long walks and crafting, my favourite ways to relax.

I used leftovers coloured with Distress inks and Cosmic shimmer for the Bubble stamp from Designs by Ryn. I cut them out and glued with Liquitex texture gel, it's perfect as it's matte when dry. I added Liquid pearls, tiny glass beads and Stickles.
The background was made by stippling Distress ink on glossy cardstock, stamping Designs by Ryn's fishes and rain drops with Archival ink. I added Stickles and glossy accents to the rain drops.
The corals were cut out from leftovers with a Spellbinder die. The sentiment was typed with a Dymo Machine on a paper strip, the words were coloured with an Aqua marker. A square leftover were coloured with a black Aqua marker to make a mat.

Representing myself

I got a question about my blog, I'm only representing myself and my projects here, not a company. I hope that you all are comfortable with that. Todays card is about my favourite saying: Life is not waiting for the storm to pass, it's about dancing in the rain.
