Childhood Memories

Yesterday I visited a fellow blogger who remembered sunny childhood days by the lake...surrounded by pines and spruces. I've had such days too, no palm trees or cicadas, but mosquitos and cooling dips.

CASology: Wood (in my case, as in pine woods)
Crazy 4 Challenges: Summer/Winter
Fantasy Stampers: Here comes summer

Materials used:
Inkylicious stamps, Distress ink, Derwent inktense and watercolour pens, Kaiser half pearls

Thank you so much for visiting. Enjoy rest of the day and remember care free childhood days in the sun.

A Snippets Only Card

Howdy! Hope you're well and kicking, if not, lots of hugs to you. Here's a little something that went just as planned. You know when you have an idea and it works out well, it's a lovely feeling.

The cut out circle is from a card that didn't end well, I put it away to see if I would change my mind about it, but no, it was a disaster, so I cut out a circle.

The other cut outs are from tiny snippets, yup, I'm saving them too, thrifty is the word I believe.

A Happy Hello!

Splendid summer weather in Stockholm and I'm making a card with a bit of darkness to give contrast to the sparkly bits, the card stock is a marine blue leftover designer paper strip, perfect for a rectangular card. Oh, and it's a happy day, my cut out daisy card is one of the picks at Pixie's Snippets Playground. Go and check the cards, you'll always find super inspiration and friendly playmates there.

Less Is More: More than one stamp
Cute Card Thursday: Blues and Hues
The Challenge #7: A Fabby Sketch
Used materials:
Inkylicious stamp coloured with Aqua Markers, misted with a water solution of liquid pearls and then stamped on water colour paper.
The Inkylicious birds were stamped with Distress ink.
Prima glitter dots, Itsy Bitsy sequins, Technique Tuesday sentiment die.
The card stock is an old Once Upon A Time paper from DCWV
